Summit Technical Solutions (STS) is seeking a Entry/Mid-Level Systems Integrator to provide support for the accomplishment of the USASMDC/ARSTRAT's execution of operational responsibilities for the Integrated and Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) training Mission.
Support National Capital Region (NCR) Integrated Air Defense System (IADS) Training and Certification events using Distributed Mission Operations (DMO) ADA with 263rd AAMDC ARNG units, along with distributed Joint Air Defense Operation Center-Training (JADOC-T) Tactical Control Officer/Tactical Control Assistant (TCO/TCA) and Battle Captain training events including support to NCR Task Force Culminating Training Events (CTEs). Host annual Battalion and Command and Control (C2) CTEs.
Leverage both current simulation and stimulation (SIM/STIM) tools and when necessary develop new SIM/STIM tools to provide that critical 3rd dimension to warfighter during testing, training and exercise.
Provide architecture design and integration plan to interface AC2 solutions with other simulation federations such as the Joint Land Component Constructive Training Capability (JLCCTC) and training devices such as the Fires Immersive Trainer such as the Call for Fire Trainer (CFFT) with the Army’s Mission Command Training Program (MCTP) Mission Command Training Centers (MCTCs).
Extend the integration of AC2 solutions into Army Division, Brigade and Battalion maneuver tactical operations centers (TOCs) and Air Force Operations Center (ASOC) to provide the warfighter the ability to replicate the TAGS and AAGS in support of testing, training and exercise support.
Design, develop and maintain a virtual capably that will allow the insertion of tactically realistic simulated over live air tracks onto the consolidated air picture directly on tactical equipment or distributed over tactical data links to support training Division level exercises to include the Joint Air-Ground Integration Cell (JAGIC).
Plan and coordinate quarterly AC2 JAGIC training to the 1st Armor Division soldiers by supporting the Division’s role in JMC events operating as the test brigade or higher echelon.
Provide planning, coordination and execution support to FCoE sponsored and CDI Cell supported exercises, including but not limited to: Red Flag, Red Flag Alaska, Black Dart, Northern Edge.
Support FCoE initiatives in Network/Capabilities Integration Evaluations (NIE/CIE) and Joint Warfighting Assessments (JWA) in both planning and execution.
Support all test operations spanning pre-test planning and preparations, test execution, and post-test analyses. One of the key testing support events will be the Capabilities Integration Evaluation (CIE) and Joint Warfighting Assessment (JWA).
Provide modeling & simulation to support NCR-IADS or FIRES experiments and exercises.
Design requirements for new or implement existing models or SIM/STIM tools within live, virtual, constructive and live over constructive environments to support training events or examine TTPs, assess system capabilities, assess the impact of projected threat capabilities against current and future systems, and assess current and conceptual employment techniques against a broad threat suite.
The Systems Integrator (Entry and Mid-Level) provides basic system services in the area of maintenance, testing, operations, logistics, and installation.Provides input to the project leader and program manager on problems, alternative solutions, and proposed concepts for prototype builds.Works directly and often in a field environment with equipment and software programs for operational, testing or demonstration purposes.Is extremely knowledgeable of space and or missile defense systems and military applications of space and or missile defense systems and has a working knowledge of military operations.
Experience levels are generally expected to indicate from 0-5 years performing relevant tasks for “entry level” personnel, 5-12 years for “mid-level” personnel, and 12 years for “senior” personnel, but may vary based on company policies, types of jobs help, levels of responsibility exercised, and educations levels.
This position is posted in anticipation of contract award to STS.
Qualified candidates will have the following experience and qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent related experience is required; Master's degree is preferred.
0-5 years' experience performing relevant tasks for “entry level” personnel, 5-12 years for “mid level” personnel, including:
1+ year experience in integrating external both external radars (FAA radars) with local tactical radars and operating and integrating Multi Source Correlator Tracker (MSCT), US Air Force’s Battlespace Command and Control Center (BC3), Air Defense Systems Integrator (ADSI), and Tactical Airspace Integration System (TAIS)
1+ year of Distributed Mission Operations Air Defense Artillery (DMO-ADA) experience
1+ year experience in working with the with the Joint Modernization Command
Knowledgeable in both Air and Missile Defense and Field Artillery Operations
Strong communication skills with all levels of management, including high level executives
Current Secret clearance
