Summit Technical Solutions (STS) is seeking a Sr. Military Operations Analyst to provide daily operational, planning, coordination, facility, personnel, training and security support along with technical analyses for the accomplishment of the USASMDC/ARSTRAT's execution of operational responsibilities for the Integrated and Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) training Mission.

The Senior Operations Analyst provides leadership and is the overarching general specialist with considerably more knowledge than the entry and mid-level military operations analyst. The operations analyst develops and revises supporting work plans; prepares task order plans; conducts reviews and edits documents. The operations analyst proposes innovative approaches to technical problems; drafts statements of work; develops requirements documents and concept of operations documents; develops operations manuals; conducts site surveys, writes after action reports; participates in meetings and telephone conferences with customers; writes meetings summaries, progress reports, and position papers. The operations analyst prepares briefings and reports; conducts presentations; conducts analysis; develops work plans, schedules, and budget estimates; attends conferences and exchanges technical data, and provides general scientific, engineering and technical assistance.

  • Leverage both current simulation and stimulation (SIM/STIM) tools and when necessary develop new SIM/STIM tools to provide that critical 3rd dimension to warfighter during testing, training and exercise.

  • Provide architecture design and integration plan to interface AC2 solutions with other simulation federations such as the Joint Land Component Constructive Training Capability (JLCCTC) and training devices such as the Fires Immersive Trainer such as the Call for Fire Trainer (CFFT) with the Army’s Mission Command Training Program (MCTP) Mission Command Training Centers (MCTCs).

  • Extend the integration of AC2 solutions into Army Division, Brigade and Battalion maneuver tactical operations centers (TOCs) and Air Force Operations Center (ASOC) to provide the warfighter the ability to replicate the TAGS and AAGS in support of testing, training and exercise support.

  • Design, develop and maintain a virtual capability that will allow the insertion of tactically realistic simulated over live air tracks onto the consolidated air picture directly on tactical equipment or distributed over tactical data links to support training Division level exercises to include the Joint Air-Ground Integration Cell (JAGIC).

  • Plan and coordinate quarterly AC2 JAGIC training to the 1st Armor Division soldiers by supporting the Division’s role in Join Modernization Command (JMC) events operating as the test brigade or higher echelon.

  • Performs other duties as assigned

This position is posted in anticipation of contract award to STS.

Required Experience

Qualified candidates will have the following experience and qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent related experience is required; Master's degree is preferred.

  • 8+ years of related mission/functional area experience

  • Strong communication skills with all levels of management, including high level executives

  • Current Secret clearance
