The Licensed Clinical Psychologist will support the Soldier Resilience and Readiness Center (SRRC) William Beaumont Army Medical Center (WBAMC), at Fort Bliss, El Paso, TX. This support is for Mobilization and Demobilization; Deployment and Redeployment; and Soldier readiness processing.
STG International is in an active bidding process for this position which is contingent upon STG International, Inc. being awarded the contract.
18.104.22.168. Shall have a Doctorate in clinical psychology from an American Psychological Association (APA) accredited program and must have completed an APA approved clinical psychology internship. (This means that no one with a degree from an Education Department in any college or university qualifies since APA will not approve an Educational Psychology clinical program because only candidates with APA approved clinical programs can be accepted into APA approved internship sites.) A candidate with a PhD in counseling psychology might be qualified if their degree is from a psychology department.
22.214.171.124. Shall have and maintain a valid unrestricted license in one of the 50 states, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, Guam, or the U.S. Virgin Islands.
126.96.36.199. Shall have a minimum of two years experience within the past three years in the practice of clinical psychology, preferably in a Government setting such as a DOD or Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) MTF and providing clinical services to individuals, couples or groups in clinical psychotherapy services. The Contractor personnel shall have sufficient training and experience to effectively provide Licensed Clinical Psychologist services to service members and family members. Related experience will not be accepted in lieu of degree or license requirements.
188.8.131.52. Shall have and maintain current certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS). Certification must be by American Heart Association specifically stating it is for healthcare providers and will be renewed every two years
