Key responsibilities - Execute daily processes and controls accurately and in a timely manner; provide compliance with Company policies - Develop close working relationship with the Purchasing Manager and Inventory Analyst - Administer data entry, prepare inventory records and reports, and handle documentation inconsistencies - Aiding in the process of internal and external audits, as requested - Administering top-notch customer service to internal business partners - Perform special projects as assigned - Primary responsibility is to count, classify, and maintain an extensive inventory of items - Oversee material received to determine irregularities, inspecting articles and rejecting defective ones

Requirements: - High attention to detail and possess excellent organizational and writing skills - Comfortable with logistics records relating to quantity, cost, and type of material received, in stock, or issued - Background in inventory preferred - AA or BS/BA in Accounting desired - Ability to enter data into various electronic systems while maintaining the integrity and accuracy of the data - Basic experience with Material Requirements Planning (MRP) preferred - Excellent written, verbal and social communication skills - General understanding of Inventory Management Software desired - EDI experience - Well-founded grasp of supply chain management - Knowledge of logistics - Proven knowledge of stock administration - Foundational knowledge in material requirements planning - Shipping experience highly desired - Proficiency in logistics distribution - Working knowledge of spreadsheets and databases
